Progress is on the way at the Colfax shop 🎥

The panel and meter have been mounted. Now we're up on the lift, running conduit along the walls and ceiling for the lights, fans, and outlets.

Measure, cut, bend, mount, repeat. Straight runs and tight bends take a little more time, but they're the difference between a shop that looks done right and one that just works.

Why is there a red "Emergency Disconnect" box on the side of this house?

It lets first responders shut off power to the home from outside, fast, without going in. On new and upgraded residential services, current electrical code requires it to be outside and easy to reach.
