Heritage Carving and Woodworking provides custom fabrication carving of signs, furniture components, architectural components and light furniture rehabbing and refinishing. We produce carvings in 3D relief carvings and simple carved signs, inlays and custom spindle designs. Our experience allows us to work with most machinable materials including:
Wood, Plastics and soft metals such as brass,

Custom frame made from salvaged family home stair railing. The photograph inside was taken in the 1950s when the home was still a farm. Underneath, the found piece of door trim with a barely legible inscription of the home's date: May 29, 1868. We added plaques with this information.

Replaced a 15-year-old pine carved sign with a beautiful White Oak that will outlast the next generation! The original was done by the client's dad, but they wanted a match that would last. This is top-coated with General Finishes Exterior 450 satin and can be freshened in future years, which should slow the graying process as it's exposed to outdoor daylight. White Oak is extremely weather-resistant.
