A pool can turn green faster than you think. In Texas summer heat, no chlorine or a dead pump can do it in 2 to 3 days, sometimes faster after a rainstorm feeds the algae.
This is one of our recent Green to Clean pools. We were able to restore it back to clear, balanced, and swim-ready, and the before and after says the rest!

Storm rolled through Tuesday night. By Thursday, your pool’s the color of pond water. Sound familiar?
Heavy Texas rain does three things at once: dilutes your chlorine, dumps a load of organics and debris into the water, and shifts your pH. Algae shows up to the party fast, sometimes within 24 hours. The longer it sits, the more it roots into the plaster and stains.

Summer’s not officially here for another month… but this is Texas, so summer already showed up early.
Routes are full, trucks are running early, and every backyard we pull up to right now is a pool somebody’s about to enjoy with their family.
That’s the part we don’t take for granted. Ten years in and it still feels like a privilege to be the ones taking care of it!
