Slab shopping for an upcoming project 🤍

Photos never do natural stone justice — you have to see the movement, veining, and scale of the slab in person to know if it’s the right one for the space.

This is where the design really starts coming together.

Designers and collectors alike head to the Round Top Antiques Show twice a year to hunt for pieces that add character and history to a home.

What makes Round Top so special is the scale — miles of fields filled with antiques, vintage furniture, rugs, lighting, art, and architectural pieces.

These are the kinds of pieces that bring warmth and personality into a design project and make a home feel collected over time.

I’ll be heading there soon to shop for inspiration and possibly a few finds for upcoming projects.

Follow along and I’ll share what catches my eye.
Have you ever been to Round Top?

This powder bath started as an empty niche… and became the jewel box of the house.

When we first saw this space it was nothing more than a wood floor and drywall, but we knew it had the potential to be something special. We designed a custom marble vanity with a wall-mounted faucet, layered in warm brass lighting, and wrapped the room — walls AND ceiling — in this beautiful botanical wallpaper.

Powder baths are the perfect place to lean into pattern and detail, and this one now feels like a little surprise moment tucked inside the home.

Comment SHOP and I’ll send you the sources.

Sourcing day in the Dallas Design District 🤍

Stopped by the newly renovated Schumacher showroom (so much eye candy) and then headed to Hickory Chair to pull wallpaper samples for an upcoming project.

This is where the real magic happens — layering textures, patterns, and making sure every detail feels intentional before it ever reaches a client’s home.

Luxury is in the selections ✨

Master Bath Renovation — Refined & Reimagined

What was once an oversized jetted tub and segmented layout is now expanded, open, and intentional.

Every selection was chosen to feel timeless:
• Marble surfaces with soft movement
• Sculptural freestanding tub
• Mixed metals for warmth
• Clean-lined cabinetry
• Layered lighting for dimension

Proof that restraint is luxury.

Sources available — comment “SHOP” and I’ll send links.

Every beautiful space begins with a problem to solve.

This primary bathroom felt large, but it wasn’t functioning well. A tight enclosed shower, an oversized jetted tub, and a disconnected fireplace feature made the layout feel heavy and dated.

Instead of just “updating finishes,” we reimagined the footprint.

By replacing the jetted tub with a freestanding statement piece and expanding the shower, we created a layout that feels open, light, and intentional. Layered lighting and mixed metals bring warmth while allowing the plumbing selections to become a focal point.

Good design isn’t just about what you see — it’s about how the space works.

Reveal tomorrow. 🤍
