Here is your daily “people trying to rip hard working people off”. Spring is broken, 16x7 door, simple fix. $295 for parts and labor, all day every day. This is ridiculous people, I hate it when anyone is ripped off and lied to, but, especially when it’s one of my brothers in blue. First off, you don’t put mismatched springs on a door. Secondly, cable drums never “go bad”, unless they get broke. I could go on and on, but you get the drift here. For reference, I would install this guy, or anyone a complete door, for $1450….$300 cheaper than the discounted price for just the spring.
