Safety on the jobsite starts with having the right protection for the work being performed.

On projects with increased electrical hazards, that means going beyond standard PPE. Flame-resistant clothing, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and other task-specific protective equipment are all part of reducing risk and keeping our crews protected.

The gear may be visible, but what matters is the planning and safety standards behind it. At Ed Green Construction, making sure our crews have the proper PPE for the job is a critical part of how we work.

Another new addition to the fleet!

We continue to invest in equipment that gives our crews the tools they need to work efficiently and keep more of our work in-house. This new skid steer is ready to get to work on jobsites across Colorado.

From an empty lot to a completed project!

Over the past year, we’ve had the opportunity to work with School District 49 on the expansion of their central office facilities. From excavation and grading to foundations, concrete, building construction, and the finishing touches, our team has been there every step of the way.

The completed project includes a new 9,668-square-foot Equipment Barn, 25,462 square feet of Covered Parking.

We’ve truly enjoyed working with District 49 and are proud to deliver facilities that will serve their team for many years to come.

After years of leasing it out, we’re officially moving back into our own office.

This video is a look at where the remodel began and the progress we’ve made so far. It’s been exciting to watch the space evolve as each phase comes together, and we’re looking forward to sharing the finished result.

Our fleet just got a little stronger.

This new excavator is more than another piece of equipment—it gives our team the ability to work more efficiently, stay on schedule, and continue delivering the quality our clients expect on every project.

A big thank you to 4 Rivers Equipment for helping us add this machine to our fleet and to Signature Auto Film for getting it fleet-ready with the decals.

We’re excited to put it to work.

Not every project is highly visible, but every project plays an important role.

For this Colorado Springs Utilities lift station improvement, our crew constructed a reinforced concrete pad for new equipment, installed a dedicated off-load pad, and placed protective bollards to help protect the installation. Reinforced with rebar and built for long-term durability, these upgrades help support the ongoing operation of critical utility infrastructure.

We’re proud to continue supporting projects that keep Colorado Springs running.

From the first days of site work to the final stages of construction, it’s rewarding to look back at how far the District 49 Central Office Expansion has come.

Over the past year, our team has helped bring this project to life through every phase—from foundations and structural concrete to the final slab-on-grade for the covered parking area. Now, with the project nearing completion, it’s exciting to see the vision become reality.

Thank you to District 49 and everyone who has been part of this project. We’re looking forward to sharing the final walkthrough soon.

At Ed Green Construction, investing in our community means investing in its future.

We were proud to support this year’s 4-H Livestock Auction by purchasing market animals from several hardworking young exhibitors. These students have spent countless hours caring for their projects, learning responsibility, developing leadership skills, and discovering the value of hard work.

Supporting programs like 4-H helps strengthen the next generation of our communities, and we’re honored to play a small part in encouraging their success.

One of the final pieces of the District 49 project is now underway.

Our crews are placing the last of the concrete for the new covered parking area, bringing this project one step closer to completion. While most people notice the finished building, every successful project is the result of hundreds of details coming together at the right time and in the right sequence.

We’re looking forward to wrapping up the remaining work and handing over another quality project to District 49.
