Tab Construction - a locally owned, family company - is looking for qualified candidates to join the team. Tab Construction offers competitive rates, opportunities to grow and learn new skills, and a positive workplace.

Utility Foreman will be in charge of leading a crew to excavate, install, and backfill underground utilities.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in medium to large commercial jobs, leading a crew to successfully install underground utilities including, but not limited to, sanitary sewer, water mains and services, storm lines, and gas lines. In addition, candidates will have prior experience well as grease traps, manholes and storm structures. Foremen must be able to read and understand plans and stakes, be familiar with Colorado Springs Utilities specs and industry standards. Must be proficient in operating all associated heavy equipment as this is an operating foreman position. May include a company truck.

Utility Foremen are responsible for supervising and coordinating activities for crews varying in size for the successful installation of underground utilities. Qualified candidates must:
* Have prior experience working on medium to large commercial jobs.
*Have previously led crews to successfully install underground utilities including but not limited to sanitary sewer, water mains and services, storm lines, and gas lines.
* Be able to read and understand plans and stakes, be familiar with Colorado Springs Utilities specs and industry standards.
*Be proficient in operating all associated heavy equipment as this is an operating Forman position.

Here at Tab Construction we are always adding new services for our clients. We are excited to roll out our fleet of vac trucks and trailers allowing us to use hydro excavation techniques to locate existing utilities with no risk of damage and excavate in tight places. Our trucks are also equipped with jet rods to clean out sanitary and storm sewer mains.

Now hiring operators/CDL drivers, and laboers for this equipment to add to our team. Prefer experienced but will consider training the right people

We are still hiring CDL drivers for all positions, tandem, side and belly dump, fuelers, and mechanics as well as equipment operators for all positions.

Tab Construction is looking for foremen to lead our underground utility and dirt-work crews. Foremen are responsible for supervising and coordinating activities for crews varying in size. Applicants must be competent in the follow areas:
•Placement of wet underground utilities, such as laying and connecting pipe for water, sewer, and storm.
• Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and procedure planning
• Ability to proficiently operate excavators, frontend loaders, skid steers, rollers, and other heavy equipment.
• Manage daily timekeeping logs, equipment logs, as well as complete daily reports.

Benefits package includes Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance as well as 401k.
