We were featured in the Colorado Springs Real Producers magazine! What a a great Honor! Here is a heartfelt write up by Nate Lemieux...
I started my Carpet cleaning business with literally nothing. My parents gave me a small loan and I bought my first extremely used Carpet cleaning van. I had literally started a business with no clients and was terrified of failure. I had won major awards working for past companies and was extremely good at my crafts. I never wanted to be a business owner to be honest. I watched other companies struggle on multiple areas of being a business owners. It's extremely tough and highly respectable to run a business. Until you have truly tried it, it's hard to realize what it takes to be successful. It finally came to a point, I was tired of having good ideas, better ways to service and a want to push the whole industry to find better ways to improve the carpet cleaning and Restoration market, so I finally took the scary plunge in saying I can do this....
I went out right away and won Angie's lists awards and Home Advisor awards in my first year of business. I wanted to ensure I had backing to my new company... That was a struggle with a whole different story for another time. I was smart and landed a few really good vendors in the real state market working for Remax, Keller Williams and more. I did not want to be the door to door knocking business using upsales to trick my clients . It's been nothing short of extremely hard work. Most of the time, 7 days a week. It's amazing that I do Music and DJ gigs as busy as I have always been, my whole working career. I have always enjoyed the tough and hard jobs. I have always loved a physical job to stay in shape for one, and jobs that most others cannot do.
I have always had a passion to help revolutionize the industry with better ideas, techniques, mixing chemicals and more. Me and my business partners at the end of last year, bought out 1st patent to our carpet cleaning. No, we are not millionaires yet, but it is one step closer to saying we love what we do and have countless nights without sleep tryng to find secret ways to make this industry better not only for us, but especially to our friends and customers. I started a seperate Flood damage business 2 years ago with my business partners Brandon and Bruce. I own two businesses that I don't say much about in public social media for many reasons.
To our surprise, we have won many awards and have had the honor to be featured in a Realtor major magazine called real producers. Jenna went to the mail today and said, are you in this magazine? I told her to thumb through it and when she found the article, I was surprised to see her eyes fill with tears. She has watched me, my partners and ever herself work tirelessly at owning these businesses. I have only wanted nothing more than to make my Parents proud. To make Jenna proud and our friends proud. This was just a small moment that I can stand back and say, you have done a good job and to take a small breath in and be proud for one split second knowing the next day, month and years are going to always be filled with challenges, new patent ideas, new awards, new customers, and especially friends.
I again rarely ever talk about my other businesses on social media but found this to be a testament to a very long career pushing the boundary of what excellence is. No amount of money can pay for true passion and the desire to just want to see people, customers that are most importantly friends, smile knowing they have got the best job possible at an affordable price.
I have always been proud knowing I have always given my best at every job no matter how small or how impossible it seemed to finish. I will always be proud to be openly honest as I don't believe in factual sales vs friendly advice to anyone needing a person just to be upfront with them. It's been an unbelievable journey from starting from nothing to now being respected in magazine articles. I could have never done it with out my parents and especially Jenna's unconditional love and understanding of the business I'm in. She has always been a huge inspiration to always be the best I can always be, not matter what I'm doing. That alone, is more than priceless.
I'm sure I could literally write a encyclopedia worth of stories, accomplishments as well as failures, but I will say this with that in mind. I have said this a lot. Your biggest accomplishments are your failures. To be able to get up over and over and over takes a special person to have the determination to just do it great once. Once you find that reason why it worked, then you can move into many other seemingly impossible goals to accomplish with a better pattern to how you did it the last time, and failures seem to disappear. I have been able to do so many amazing things by failing and demanding never to give up until I have made the seemingly impossible challenges possible. I feel I have a million more to still do and accomplish. I will never lose that desire....
Thank you to everyone that has believed in me. I owe so many people thanks and that's another novel in itself.
