Shake your trees people!!!!

The snow is heavy and the weight is incredible on the trees!!!!!

It’s horrible and you get covered with snow!!!!!

But if your trees break like I think they’re going to in town, it’s even more horrible!!! The cleanup is incredibly sad and it’s expensive and it’s time consuming and it’s miserable!!!!!!

Go out Right now find the longest thing you can to shake them and do the best you can!!!!!

Hey folks, don’t forget to water your plants and turf this winter. Colorado Springs Utilities says:

*Water once or twice a month from November to April.

*Chose a warm winter day with air temperatures above 40 degrees F and unfrozen soil.

*It is most critical to water March and April when new roots are forming.

*Water mid day so it has a chance to soak in before freezing.

*If recent snow has moistened the soil deeply, you can wait several weeks to water.

*it is most important to water new plants, trees, and turf.

*Established lawns, trees, and shrubs, especially in sunny, windy, or exposed areas, should also be a high priority.

*Don’t water Cactus, succulents, Blue gamma, Buffalo grass, or very xeriscape plants.
