An end of an era. We had a privilege of building this ramp in partnership with Sk8-Strong and Colorado Parks and Rec. Thank you Jono Schwan and Aric Schwan for vision and hard work that made this happen! It was so fun to work with you, we have so many great memories with our skate family!

The large wooden vertical skate ramp at Memorial Park (closed since September 2025 due to safety concerns) will be permanently decommissioned beginning tomorrow.

Originally installed in 2012 through a community partnership, the wooden ramps were designed for indoor use and have significantly deteriorated after years of outdoor exposure. With increasing maintenance needs and ongoing safety issues, the large ramp is no longer sustainable to maintain.

The smaller vertical ramp will remain in place and continue to be maintained. We appreciate your understanding.

We are excited to share more photos from the completed Trace Church project — a full transformation that now serves both .church and Assent Christian School. Featured here: the modern lobby, welcoming café, worship and events center, childcare spaces, and the two-story mezzanine now home to classrooms, science labs, and offices. Behind the build: Throwback to one of our most transformative projects for .church —where bold vision met complex engineering: We began by installing heavy steel for shear support, which allowed us to safely remove a massive tilt-up concrete wall with a 300-ton crane. From there, we placed 75’ steel trusses and columns to replace old concrete supports—opening the space for the new worship center. At Innovative Construction, we take pride in solving the problems others call impossible—and delivering results that last.

Throwback to our multi-phase project with Jaxon Engineering—one of our favorites.

In Phase 1, we converted a large warehouse into a cutting-edge manufacturing facility, including the installation of a 15-ton overhead girder crane.
In Phase 3, we returned to expand both the warehouse and office space, creating a dynamic environment for their growing engineering team. The office interiors, designed in collaboration with Echo Architecture, brought bold, functional design to life.

We are nearing the end of an exciting project, the new home of .church ! Here is a throwback to beginning of the job, when we removed a precast double tee wall, to create space for the auditorium. We have come along way since then and look forward to sharing the final results!
