Mary Starsmore Discovery Plaza opened this summer at North Cheyenne Cañon Park, and D2 Demo was glad to be part of the work that helped bring it to life, in partnership with IS West.

The new plaza gives visitors an accessible outdoor classroom and gathering space, with thousands of local school kids expected to pass through it every year to learn about the outdoors. It's the kind of project that sticks around and serves the community for a long time.

Another one down near Weidner Field! D2 Demo has started a demolition project in partnership with CSI Construction Company, clearing the way for their next build in downtown Colorado Springs.

CSI has been building relationships across general contracting, construction management, and design-build since 1978, and it shows in how they run a job site. Proud to be the demo partner they trust to get things ready, safely and on schedule.

Our CEO, Aileen, attended the National Association of Women in Construction Annual Conference in Reno last weekend, connecting with women leaders from across the construction industry, and had a great time doing it! She's bringing back fresh ideas on innovation, workforce development, and industry standards to apply here at D2 Demo.

NAWIC's mission is to strengthen the success of women in construction, an industry where women make up just 11% of the overall workforce and only 4% of the trades.
