Nice, wet weather this week! No more fires right?

Right??

*Buzzer sound.* Wrong. Sorry. Fire danger across Colorado is here and it's something our community needs to keep top of mind, especially with how dry this season has been.

Fire mitigation is one of the most effective steps homeowners can take right now. By reducing excess vegetation, removing debris, and thoughtfully pruning trees, properties can be made safer without sacrificing the beauty of your landscape.

We get it. Often when people hear "fire mitigation" it translates to "guess I'm turning my yard into a barren wasteland."

Fear not. When done correctly, it can improve the overall look of a property by opening up space, highlighting healthy trees, and creating a cleaner, more intentional environment.

Simple steps like trimming lower tree branches, clearing dead material, and creating defensible space around structures can help slow the spread of fire and improve access for emergency crews if needed.

Even small changes can make a meaningful difference! Take a proactive approach now to better position your property (and neighborhood) for the rest of the season.

Bring the heat this season - just keep it in your fire pit.

Is it just us, or is the wind trying to relocate Colorado?

Once you’ve recovered from wrestling your trash cans, check your canopy for broken or cracked limbs. A little early damage control can prevent bigger headaches later.

We’re here to help before things go from breezy to easy-tree-sy.
