We’re slowly getting everything changed over to Amped Electrical! There are a few changes I’m making to the wrap design but this is pretty much it. We just stripped the wrap off the JJRS van and both are soon to be on the road sporting the new name! It’s been eight years strong as JJRS Electrical, but it feels refreshing and exciting for the big change!

Funny enough, this photo was taken candidly by our insurance broker while we were downtown helping out one of the many restaurants that we service in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. We had literally just talked through the finalizing of the name change on our insurance policies! lol You definitely can’t miss our vans when you see them around!

BIG NEWS!!! We are thrilled to announce that JJRS Electrical, LLC is officially growing into a new identity. Starting today, we are AMPED ELECTRICAL! We felt as though better brand recognition and an easier name to remember makes it easier for our community to recognize us and easier to recommend us.

For the past 8 years, it’s been our absolute privilege to serve this community. While our name is changing, our commitment to top-tier, reliable, and safe electrical solutions remains as strong as ever. You’ll still see the same expert team and receive the same high standards of workmanship you’ve come to trust—just with a fresh new look.

Working on a local landmark is always a privilege, but helping bring the Navajo Hogan back to life has been a standout project for us at JJRS Electrical. It’s not every day you get to update the "nervous system" of a building with this much character, and let’s just say, wiring an octagonal structure built in the 1930s after two fires definitely keeps you on your toes! We’re proud to provide the modern electrical infrastructure needed to ensure this iconic piece of Colorado Springs history remains safe, bright, and ready for its next chapter.

For those who don't know the backstory, the Navajo Hogan is a true piece of roadside Americana. Built in 1935 by E.B. "Shorty" Long, it was designed to mimic a traditional Navajo dwelling and quickly became a North Nevada Avenue staple. Over the decades, it served as everything from a popular eatery for Fort Carson soldiers to a beloved local watering hole before being added to the National Register of Historic Places. Seeing it restored rather than replaced is a huge win for our community’s heritage, and we’re honored that JJRS Electrical could play a part in its revival.
