The Rampart Roofing team headed out to El Pomar Youth Sports Park to cheer on The Pueblo Steel Baseball team this past weekend. As proud sponsors of this team, we were happy to get out into the community and support our local athletes. Pueblo Steel played 6 games of baseball and finished 2nd out of 23 teams. Leading this by example is David Santos, our Commercial Roofing Superintendent. David is committed to building stronger communities through teamwork and mentorship. In 2014, he founded Pueblo Steel Baseball, a non-profit baseball team based in Pueblo, Colorado. The name is a nod to the city’s nickname “Steel City” and reflects a deep sense of pride and community connection amongst its players.

Since its founding, Pueblo Steel has become a place where athletes can learn discipline, teamwork, and character. Like any great team, their journey hasn’t been without challenges. The organization has put a lot of effort into building a cohesive roster and cultivating a supportive team culture. As a result, they have achieved something truly meaningful both on and off the field.

That dedication has paid off. Pueblo Steel has built an impressive list of accomplishments throughout the years, including a Colorado Baseball Association Championship in 2024, a Challenge at Pikes Peak tournament victory, Triple Crown Colorado Fall Harvest platinum championship, and a USSSA Colorado Points Race win. In addition to all these wins, they have achieved many other tournament victories.
