When the old has served it’s purpose it’s time for the new. Got to work with the contractor Dave Cote and his helper Woody. These guys have obviously worked together for many years. 🙂
It was certainly tricky getting things done when you are so close to the house and the having roof posts to work around. You just need the right size machines. 👍. Thank you for the project and look forward to working with these guys again!

Well, this is not my typical rock man project but this company is where I work in the winter cause I don’t like stacking rocks when it’s freezing outside. Don’t judge lol so I brought in a garden designer (Michaela) from Gardner’s Eden to help me out. We did use some pretty cool pieces of stone I had from previous projects and from the diamond saw at Sugarledge quarry. It’s fun to do something different once in a while.

Here we go 2024 is rolling. I’m really happy the customer chose to leave the ends of these steps natural. Didn’t even trim the top one to meet the house. Mother nature made that top step perfect.

I don’t always have a trowel in my hand. But when it comes to blue stone steps on a stone house it’s what’s required. I’ll get some cleaner pics in a couple weeks.
