Yep, this is what we have been dealing with at home, off and on, for the last month.
Mother Nature doesn't have a shutoff valve.....at least that we can find. So, thank God, for sump pumps!!!

After reading an article on KOMU 8, about how the growing use of "flushable" sanitary wipes is reeking havoc on the city's sewer system, we'd (as much as we'd love to have your business) would like to remind all of you to never flush anything except toilet paper down a toilet. Even if the package says it's flushable, don't do it!
Flushing Items like sanitary wipes and tampons not only places a burden on the city's sewer system but can also- and mostly likely eventually will- clog up your own home's sewer line. This can lead to sewage backing up into your home through the house's drain lines, filling your sinks, tubs and showers with sewage water. It can even seep out from under toilets and come up through floor drains, causing extensive and expensive damage to carpets and flooring.

Below is a link to the article I mentioned above. I've also included a picture showing just a few of the more than fifty sanitary wipes I snaked out of a sewer, awhile back. As you can see, they do not break down quickly.
