Earlier this week, we received a call from an elderly lady on a fixed income who was referred to us by The Family Center. She had a leak under her double wide trailer and was told it would cost $10,000 to re-plumb her house. She said, “I’m on a fixed income - I can’t afford that!” I told her we could not get out that day, but we would get out the next day. Her reply, “Oh honey - I haven’t had water for almost a week - one more day is okay.” Well, we finished early that day and were able to get out to assess her situation. One hour later and a few parts and her water was back on. She was so happy, she gave the plumber a hug!!! So glad we could help!!!
