FINAL CAT UPDATE:

We want to thank everyone who has been keeping an eye out for our cats. After a week and a half of 4 traps being set and checked multiple times daily we have had no sightings of the cats. The only thing we trapped was 3 possums, a raccoon, and two cats that weren’t ours. One of those cats did go to the shelter and was fixed so we are happy we could help him. We are thinking that the sightings we got may have been of the two cats we trapped. We have worked tirelessly to try to find them and we want to be real with y’all there hasn’t been much activity with the traps other than what I’ve described above. We ultimately made the difficult decision to return the traps back to the shelter. We now believe that if they are out there they will come back if and when they are ready. Many people have told me that they’ve had similar situations and their cat returned months later so we find some hope in that. We pray that if our babies did not make it out that they did not suffer. These cats were part of our family and we miss them dearly. If you do see any cats that you think may be ours don’t hesitate to message us here on Facebook. And if we do find any of them we will let everyone know.

We are grateful that everyone is safe and truly appreciate the support and understanding from our community during this time. We are truly blown away by the incredible love, support, and kindness our community has shown us. What has been an incredibly difficult time for our family, employees, and business has been made a little easier by the countless messages, prayers, phone calls, donations, and offers to help. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and compassion that this community has shown. Your encouragement has reminded us just how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us during this challenging time. We are grateful for each and every one of you. We love you Maury County, and we hope to be back soon.❤️‍🩹

Today we suffered the unimaginable. At 12:40am our beloved store caught fire. Our fire departments rushed to the seen to try and put the fire out. Firefighters worked tireless through out the night and we are so thankful for them. As of right now we do not know the cause of the fire. It is now under investigation and when we have more information we will share. 💔

No one was in the store at the time. We are so thankful that our employees and management are safe. We are devastated, heartbroken and still in shock of what has happened.

Now to answer the burning question about the cats. As many know we had 4 store cats who were like family to us. They were thought of as our mascots. As of right now we have not located any of the cats. We do know Firefighters and neighbors spotted cats running for the store. We have searched for them but not yet found them. We have also put out food where they were last seen. We know that our babies are probably terrified from what they’ve experienced. If you do see any of them please contact us through Facebook messenger.

To our customers, vendors and neighbors, we want you to know that appreciate all of the prayers, texts, and visits to the scene today. We felt your love and prayers. This has been the hardest day that Columbia Farm supply has endured in its 25 years of serving Columbia. Please continue to pray for our employees, management, cats, and the store. We have a long road ahead and we hope to recover from this.❤️‍🩹

There are BIG things happening here at Columbia farm supply next week! We will be getting a new computer system after 25 years!! We are so excited and eager to be able to serve our customers in a more efficient way! 🥳🥳🖥️⌨️
