There's nothing you can think of or ask that God cannot do! On Tuesday, February 1, 2011, I did a thing. I officially opened LLE Construction Group, LLC. Yep, it's our anniversary!😊🎉🎉🙌🏽🙌🏽 14 years in business. WOW! I asked God to bless me and my business and what a blessed journey it has been! 🙌🏽 ❤️

Being an entrepreneur is exciting and scary! It's a daily adrenaline rush as we navigate learning and practicing business, finding and working with clients, making and managing money, contracts, people, and ourselves. It's been a challenging 14 years but I've loved it! There have been times I was ready to call it quits but at the nick of time, God opened doors I didn't expect. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

I've learned I have to , Trust God, and listen to the Holy Spirit's guidance! In doing that, all has worked out. As I dedicate the next 5 to 10 years in business, I look forward to new partnerships and teaming, growth and opportunities, expansion of services and service areas, and all God has in store for me, my team, and partners! In March 2023, I was invited to be on the panel of Contractors in Atlanta, Georgia with the Atlanta Black Chamber thanks to my friend and fellow General Contractor, Amber Lawson! Alicia Small and Jamie Carter traveled to Atlanta to support me and learn what we were sharing at the event in real estate and construction.

This was my first time meeting Jamie. Since that time, Jamie has performed work under LLE as a subcontractor. He always stayed connected and told me what he enjoyed doing and asked how we could work together. Entrepreneurship is all about relationships, staying connected, doing great work, and so much more.

Timing is everything. Well, an opportunity came up for LLE to provide Construction Observation Services for roadwork through the Airport and their contractor. LLE was selected. Due to meeting Jamie and knowing about his experiences with Ecyak Construction and roadwork, I contacted him to see if he was interested. The rest is history.

I am so grateful for relationships and opportunities. I learned years ago, it's not all about me and LLE, but how we can collaborate and partner with others to deliver for our clients. I love our work and thank God for the "right" clients and the "right" work that help us be successful and grow!

This was my reality when I started my business. I knew very little about running a company, especially a construction company. It has taken trial and error to get where I am today AND I'm still learning. So, wherever you are in business, and learning. I've failed. It happens. Keep it moving!

Put yourself in spaces to grow. Surround yourself with people who want to see you win. Work with clients and customers who need your products and services and value your presence. You got this! Don't give up! 💪🏾❤️
