There’s something special about walking a project while it’s under construction and seeing the future take shape floor by floor.

Our team participated in a media hard-hat tour showcasing progress on Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Unions new downtown development at the corner of Sumter and Lady streets. Construction began in late 2025, and the five-story, 100,000+ SF headquarters is anticipated to be completed in early 2027.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside outstanding project partners M. B. Kahn and Quackenbush Architects + Planners. A special thanks to David Detwiler for leading LCK’s on-site project management efforts and to Christopher Hock for supporting the team today.

We are also excited to see the future activation of the ground-floor restaurant space, which is being leased by Rox Pollard, Jr., John Gressette, Rox Pollard III and Danny Bonds with Colliers International | South Carolina.

This project represents more than a new headquarters; it’s an investment in the continued growth and vibrancy of downtown Columbia for generations to come.

We’re proud to see LCK and our Vice President, Scott Rush, featured in a national industry publication, Airport Improvement, for our work at Greenville-Spartanburg Regional Airport.

As the Upstate continues to experience tremendous growth, projects like the airport’s newly opened $97 million 5-level parking garage with 750 public parking spaces, 750 rental car spaces, rental agency counters, and quick-turnaround services play an important role in supporting the region’s expanding infrastructure and enhancing the traveler experience. With more than 27 years of experience in commercial real estate development and construction, Dale has been instrumental in strengthening LCK’s platform and positioning the firm for long-term success.

This transition also marks a meaningful moment of gratitude and recognition for Mickey Layden, who is stepping back from her role as CEO after 32 years of building LCK into one of the region’s most respected owner’s representation and project management firms. Mickey will continue her involvement as Founder and Chair Emeritus, remaining active in the community, business development and key client relationships.
