It was one of those perfect Missouri days, to take a drive out in the country, to photograph a finished tree planting job.

Friday the crew finished planting 18 very large 🌲🌳
Pit lolly Pines, 16 to 20 Ft tall nearly 4ft root balls
White Pines, 10 to 12”, 8” caliper, nearly 4ft root ball weight at nearly a ton.

Also the crew installed 2 new watering lines, for watering said trees!
Much rings for all!!!

This was not an easy job, but the crew makes it look easy!

Part of what makes Landscaping magical, is not only transforming peoples homes, but getting called back again and again, to continue the transformation projects!
We were fortunate to have answered the call from the Mechlin’s years ago! Their home has been a favorite of ours from the beginning, so when Michelle called Danny, to help fix some problems they were having with landscaping we hadn’t touch yet, we were more than happy to go back to their home, to yet again transform!
When you have a good relationship with clients and you know their home so well, it’s as easy as sending texts with photos saying, “ can you just fix this here” and we reply “ of course “

We are HIRING a Part-Time Landscape Draftsman/Project Estimator with strong techinical design experience and a passion for creating functional, beautiful outdoor environments. Base pay PLUS COMMISSION on projects sold.

Responsibilties:
>Take on site consultations with clients and gather measurements.
>Draft landscape designs and plans.
>Produce estimates and project proposals.
>Create ready to build construction plans.
>Review site measurements and integrate them into drawings.
>Research materials, plants and construction requirements.
>Adjust designs based on client feedback and project needs.

Qualifications:
>3-5 years of experience in landscape drafting, design or estimating required.
>Proficiency with Sketch Up or Equivalent digital design software.
>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
>Willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
>Must be a good human with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Compensation:
Pay and commission rate is based on market premiums, experience and performance.

We have exciting news here at Danny's Landscaping Inc. In less than one week we will be celebrating our 20th Season In Business Anniversary. As we wrap up this incredible year, we find ourselves at another precipice of inner and outer growth and expansion. We currently have openings for three positions that we are hiring for immediately.

A little throwback to a couple of projects we wrapped up earlier this year!

We wanted to share with you two incredible transformations — each with its own charm.

One blended structure and nature with a stone staircase, accent retaining wall, and a fresh landscape filled with trees and shrubs, and landscape lighting.

The other leaned into craftsmanship and comfort — custom fencing with arched gates, an arbor, a welcoming patio with a fire pit, and a fresh planting all around.

Both projects turned out beautifully, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! 🌿🔥

What began as a custom design featuring a paver patio, sitting wall, and fire pit has now come full circle with the addition of a beautiful pool and paver surround. This multi-phase project has been a journey of careful planning and collaboration, and we’re thrilled to share the final results.

As our busy year comes to an end, we finally have the time to reflect on what we accomplished and we like to share that with our ever-growing family. We tend to fall in love with each project we take on and their associated owners - and this one is no exception. Gardening and maintaining a full landscape is no easy task and not all of our clients are hands on with their gardens, but with this project we had the honor of enhancing the space of a very meticulous and committed gardener and the results were amazing!

This is how you make a BIG impact in a small space! This was a very special project for a dear friend who wanted to transform their backyard. Where before there was an old crumbling wall and an eroding slope, there is now a gorgeous paver patio, retaining wall, and stone stairway complete with a stunning planting. I love all of the different layers, levels, and textures in this design. From the outside-in you have the soft and delicate planting within a mulch bed, followed by the walkway in rock with the powerful yet natural staircase in stone, and finally the beautiful mosaic retaining wall holding up a smooth and crisp paver patio. The DLI potential was fully maximized in one small area and our crew knocked it out of the park as always! It has been a fast paced, jam packed year at Danny’s Landscaping Inc. We are currently on our last big job for the year that will take several weeks to complete. Our team has been working hard all summer and fall knocking out installations all over Columbia and I am happy to now be sharing them with you!
This project here was the result an unfortunate wrong doing of another company that we were called in to tear out and replace. Our sweet clients were understandably shook up from the absolute disaster left behind by an unprofessional and unskilled group of people and we are so thankful that they had the courage to call us so we could make it right!
Our task -as it often is- was to help direct rain water away from the house while simultaneously beautifying a frequently used outdoor space. We achieved this by first removing the failing retaining walls, grading, burring drain basins, and building new walls the DLI way.
It pains us to see when other companies hurt the good people of columbia and we wish that we could have gotten there first, but we take the DLI standard with us wherever we go and continue to build better and get it right first time.
