Before you get angry about a 12 year old not making it to your house to shovel snow, please remember he is 12. He has two parents who both work full-time jobs and his shoveling is not a full time gig, and is not intended for him to make a living off of. This is to teach a child responsibilities. Most of the time his responsibilities is school work, followed by scouts and youth sports. First and foremost, his job is to be a kid. If you do not like that, you know not to message in the future. He will do what he can when he can.

For those who don't know. Liam decided he wanted to start a business. I asked what all he wanted to do with his business, and he said shoveling snow, gardening, leaf raking and lawn care. I do not want to discourage his entrepreneur mind-set. In fact, I want to encourage it. Let us know if you have any odd jobs you would like him to do, and we will discuss, with Liam, his options. I think this is a great learning opportunity for my young man, and encourage people to actually put him to work. He will keep 100% of his pay, but being mom, I will insist half of it go in to his savings. My young man has big dreams!
