Haacks Excavation Solutions LLC just wrapped up another big one — a full 2-story farmhouse demolition from start to finish.

Part 3 of 3 and a wrap on this project we did with river rock! It’s absolutely beautiful what nature gives us.

Part 2 of 3 on this project really should have been part 1 but this specific client of ours was fed up with their rain gutters getting clogged up with leafs due to the pop ups and what happened was the rain would over fill the gutters and start getting rain water down into the basement and foundation “that’s a big no no”

So to solve this we installed 4” SDR-35 for each downspout then those connect into a large 6” SDR-35 pipe that all gravity feed into a nearby catch basin.

🏗️Part one of three on this one. This specific client had called us out three different times for three different projects. Specifically on this project after the builders came and built her new garage they left the lot an absolute mess as pictured. We took down the fence and graded 8 loads of topsoil into the yard to raise it up and grade it for surface water drainage.

We completed a small amount of land clearing and dirt moving. An addition was made to the existing driveway by incorporating geo-textile fabric and adding extra gravel on top of the existing layer. For this, we used 22A white limestone as a base and topped it with 6A white limestone.

Additionally, we constructed a ditch lined with geo-textile fabric and 6A limestone to ensure an erosion-resistant and maintenance-free solution. To conclude the project, we built a retaining wall to maintain the integrity of the driveway and prevent gravel from spilling into the grass.

Click through to see the final product. This driveway project turned out perfect. How we did it? First, we marked out the area of where the driveway was going to be length and width. Next, we brought in our 35g to strip all organic matter away. Geotextile fabric was then laid out to create a protective barrier and 6a limestone was trucked in. We scooped it out with our tilt rotation bucket for a mess free yard and compacted it all together to finish the job.

We finally got to one of our land clearing projects 150’ of tree lined cleared!! This lovely couple is developing a new pole barn and wanted to see it from their house. Lots more work in the future! 🔥
