Exciting to see the progress being made from our team at Anderson Concrete on the new terminal at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, a project that will serve Central Ohio for years to come.

Closing out the week with another internal look at the construction happening on our new terminal! This area here is part of the Central Market, which will house the majority of our shopping and dining options. That opening in the ceiling is intentional — it's where our skylight will go, flooding the space with natural light.

Proud to be a partner once again with COSI - Center of Science and Industry, the Ohio Contractors Association, and the IUOE Local 18 Apprenticeship and Training for the Science of Big Machines exhibit at COSI.

This hands-on experience gives visitors a closer look at the equipment, technology, and skilled professionals who help build our communities every day. We're honored to support an exhibit that helps inspire the next generation to explore careers in construction and the trades.

Recently, Anderson Concrete participated in the Ohio Trucking Association Technician Competition.

Kyle Thum volunteered and Ken Zyvonoski represented Anderson Concrete in the annual event, which brought together some of Ohio’s top technicians for two days focused on safety, skill, and technical excellence.

Throughout the competition, technicians were tested through written exams, hands-on exercises, and diagnostic stations designed to evaluate troubleshooting ability, efficiency, and technical knowledge.

Events like this highlight the professionalism and dedication that keep Ohio’s trucking industry moving safely every day. We appreciate Kyle and Ken for representing Anderson Concrete so well.

We’re proud to share that Jessica Anderson, President of Anderson Concrete, was recently honored by Ohio Cancer Research Associates with the 2026 A Capital Valentine Award.

Jessica’s longtime support, leadership, and commitment to Ohio Cancer Research has helped make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer, a cause that has touched so many families.

The evening raised nearly $350,000 to support life-saving cancer research, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make the event possible.
