Demo day! 🔨

Wyatt & Braydon kicked off another bathroom remodel for us this week, starting with removing the old shower to make way for what’s next.

There’s a lot that happens between the “before” and “after” of a remodel, and demo is where it all begins. We’ll be sharing more from this project as it takes shape!

She comes into the office, spends most of the day sleeping on the job, and somehow still manages to be one of our best morale boosters. We'd say she's earned her paycheck. 😄

📣 Starting in September, we're making a small change to our Saturday operations.

Our plumbers will continue running service calls as usual until noon, and our team will still be answering phone calls, texts and emails.

The only change is that our office building will be closed to walk-in customers on Saturdays.

So if you need a plumber Saturday morning, nothing changes, give us a call or send us a message and we’ll be happy to help!

Not every plumbing repair comes with ideal working conditions.
Wyatt & Ian were repairing a failed water line for this customer. They used our vac trailer to better expose the line and get access to the damaged area.
Getting to the problem is sometimes half the battle, and making the repair once you're there takes some skill.
Extra points to Wyatt for being able to make plumbing repairs upside down 😂

We’re proud to share that Lohmeyer Plumbing was honored with the Indiana Governor’s Half Century Business Award this week! 🎉

The award recognizes Indiana businesses that have been in continuous operation for 50+ years and have demonstrated a history of community service. Lohmeyer Plumbing is celebrating 90 years in business in 2026, serving Columbus and the surrounding communities since 1936.

Reaching 90 years is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it wouldn’t be possible without the generations of employees, customers and community members who have supported Lohmeyer Plumbing along the way.

It was also inspiring to be surrounded by so many other longtime Indiana businesses at the ceremony, especially the Century Award recipients that have been in business for 100 years or more! Seeing businesses continue to grow, adapt and serve their communities for that many decades is pretty remarkable.

We’re grateful to be among this year’s honorees and proud to bring this award home to Columbus. ❤️
