Happy National Dog Day! 🐾
Last month we welcomed George, a therapy dog in training, to the office, and it's safe to say he made the rounds (and made our day). Visits like his are just a small way to support our wellbeing, giving the team a chance to step away from their work, relax, and come back refreshed.

George met employees and neighbors, sat in on our marketing team meeting, and even earned a well-deserved pup cup from the Johnson's Ice Cream truck (thanks to a generous friend at KORDA!). He also hosted a mid morning Mental Health Hour, trading donuts for his own "woofles" treat alongside the team.

Beyond the smiles, George's visit also counts toward his office hours as part of his therapy dog certification training, so every tail wag and treat break at 3CI helped him on his path to becoming a certified therapy dog. A win for him, and a win for us! Since then, George has officially graduated and is a certified therapy dog. Congrats George!

Meet Emerson, IT Manager at 3C.

Emerson joined 3C to expand his knowledge and contribute to a growing company where he could make a real impact. With experience in both large corporate environments and the nonprofit sector, he brings a unique perspective and diverse skill set to the team.

As IT Manager, Emerson serves as technical support expert, cybersecurity champion, and the occasional IT wizard. He's passionate about helping others, solving complex technical challenges, and finding creative solutions that make technology work for people.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, visiting amusement parks, riding motorcycles, tackling puzzles, and building LEGO sets. Emerson is always up for a new challenge, whether it's an adrenaline rush or a problem to solve.

One of Emerson's favorite things about 3C is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while learning and growing alongside a collaborative team.

This past Saturday, Team 3C laced up for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk in downtown Columbus.

Our "Built With Heart" crew joined thousands of others walking in support of heart and stroke research, education, and patient care. It was a morning full of community spirit, great energy, and a reminder of why we show up for causes that build healthier lives, on and off the jobsite.

It's easy to push through when the schedule is tight; but tired eyes, a dull mind, and a short fuse are early warning signs, not just inconveniences. Long hours lead to fatigue, and fatigue leads to mistakes.

Know the signs. Look out for your crew. And if something feels off, use your stop-work authority, no explanation needed.
