Because of recent perimeter exterior waterproofing, standard framing wasn’t an option. We couldn’t puncture the slab barrier, so we engineered a custom, non-penetrating framing system to keep the space rock solid while protecting that waterproofing investment.
Here’s how we pulled off the transformation:
Zero-Penetration Framing: Built entirely without penetrating the exterior waterproofing barrier or cracking concrete to move drains.
Built for Moisture Defense: Mold-resistant drywall, fresh paint all around, PVC baseboards, self-leveling underlayment, and fortified mortar shower beds engineered to fight off basement humidity forever.
The Custom Finish: Deep blue vertical subway tile, a seamless glass pony wall, custom mosaic floors, and high-performance grout for zero-hassle maintenance.
Smart Upgrades: Dialed-in electrical placement, modernized plumbing, and carefully reused fixtures to maximize budget where it counts.
