CLUE #5 IS HERE!

No riddle today — just a simple photo clue. Take a good look at the image, think about what you’re seeing, and combine it with the first four clues.

That $250 is getting closer!

SAFETY REMINDER: The prize is in an easy-to-reach, publicly accessible area. Do not trespass, dig, climb, enter or approach water, search near active roadways, or enter restricted areas. There is no need to move heavy objects or do anything dangerous to find it. Respect posted signs and search safely during daylight hours.

CLUE #4 IS HERE!

We’ve narrowed down the search AREA over the last few days. Now it’s time to start giving you some details about the actual hiding spot.

The sun knows the sky, but not where I stay,
A roof made by nature keeps daylight away.
Look under the giants dressed proudly in green,
Their shadows will guide you closer unseen.

Think you know what it means? Combine this with Clues #1, #2 and #3 and keep narrowing down where that $250 could be hiding!

Make sure you’re FOLLOWING the Nitro Roofing page — more clues are coming, and you’ll need to put them ALL together to find the prize.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: The prize is hidden in an easy-to-reach, publicly accessible area. It is NOT hidden near a river, creek, lake, pond, or other body of water. Do not approach or enter water. Do not trespass or enter private property. Do not dig or disturb the ground. Stay away from active roadways and never search on or alongside an interstate. Look both ways when crossing streets.

There is no need to climb trees, break branches, move heavy objects, enter restricted areas, or do anything dangerous or destructive to find the prize. Respect all posted signs, search during daylight hours, and stay safe.

CLUE #3 IS HERE!

We’re narrowing down the search area again — and today, Columbus’s waterways are your guide.

Three waterways run north to south through our original search area. Your job is to identify the one in the middle and figure out which side you need to be on.

Three waterways flow from north to south,
Each with its own path through the city’s mouth.
I’m the one in the middle, but you won’t be crossing me—
The treasure you seek is to my west, where the search area will be.

Put Clues #1, #2 and #3 together and that original search area is getting MUCH smaller!

IMPORTANT: Although this clue uses rivers and waterways as landmarks, the prize is NOT hidden near a river, creek, lake, pond, or ANY body of water. Do not approach or enter the water to search.

Yesterday we gave you the starting point: the $250 prize is hidden somewhere inside the I-270 Outerbelt.

Today, we’re cutting that search area down!

I stretch across the city east to west,
A busy path, I do the best.
Stay on my north side and you’ll be aligned,
The treasure you seek is on this side.

Study the map, solve the clue, and combine it with what you learned yesterday. Each new clue will bring you closer to that $250!
