These COTA pantograph charging stations will provide rapid charging for electric buses, helping keep service moving throughout the day. As the project nears completion, it's rewarding to see months of planning, coordination, and field ex*****on come together.

From site development and concrete work to equipment installation and commissioning, every milestone has been driven by strong partnerships and a team committed to getting the work done right.

This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate a group of people who have helped shape Marker through their hard work, leadership, and commitment over the years.

Ryan Freet, Spencer Kuhlman, Carissa Devine, and Jake Schumann were recognized for five years with Marker. Each of them has played an important role in strengthening our teams, projects, and culture, and we’re grateful for the impact they continue to make.

We also celebrated the retirements of Wayne Yoder after 32 years and Pete Yarchak after 22 years with Marker. Their experience, leadership, and steady presence have helped shape who we are today, both in the field and across our company culture. While it’s bittersweet to see them step into their next chapters, we’re incredibly thankful for everything they’ve poured into Marker over the years.

We’re excited to officially welcome Brandon Paul to the Marker team as an Assistant Superintendent. 👏

After spending the past few summers with us as a field intern, Brandon is stepping into a full-time role following his graduation from Ohio Northern University this spring.

Over the years, he’s already built strong relationships with our teams in the field and gained firsthand experience on our projects. We’re proud to see him continue that growth at Marker and look forward to what’s ahead.

This summer, we’re proud to welcome several interns to the team. They’ll be gaining real-world experience, working alongside our project teams, and getting a firsthand look at what it takes to build the spaces and places our communities rely on.

We’ve seen these opportunities turn into something more—interns coming back year after year, and many going on to become full-time members of our team.

Progress continues at Roberts Run Landing as work moves forward across multiple buildings throughout the site.

Recent milestones include exterior painting completion at Building D-7, continued drywall finishing in Building A1-6, and ongoing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression rough-ins across several buildings. Roofing, siding, flooring prep, and flatwork activities are also continuing to take shape as the project advances.

These aerial views offer a great perspective on the amount of coordination and teamwork happening across the site every day. Proud of the crews and trade partners helping move this project forward safely and steadily.

Three years, three months, and three days with Marker, and Tyler Shisler continues to make an impact across our team.

Tyler was recognized as our May Associate of the Month for the leadership, collaboration, and support he brings to every project.

His teammates highlighted his attention to detail, ability to navigate challenges, and willingness to share his knowledge with others. Whether he's helping develop younger team members, working through complex project issues, or stepping into responsibilities beyond his role when needed, Tyler consistently puts the team first.

His supervisor, Mac, also recognized the way Tyler has stepped up throughout multiple projects, taking ownership and helping carry the load wherever it's needed.

Tyler's impact goes beyond project management. He helps build up the people around him, and that's what makes this recognition so well deserved. Congratulations, Tyler, and thank you for everything you do. 👏

Most people only see the finished building. We get to see everything it took to get there.

From the tower crane rising over the site, to the walls taking shape, to the final details inside the lobby—every phase represents months of planning, coordination, craftsmanship, and teamwork. What started as an active construction site is now a nearly completed space designed to serve the community, support local business, and create experiences for the people who use it every day.

These transformations are our favorite reminder that construction is about more than building structures. It’s about building places where people connect, gather, and grow.
