We always look forward to the ACG Columbus Annual Golf Outing, and this year’s event certainly delivered. As a proud sponsor, it was a pleasure to spend the day connecting with colleagues and friends across the community.

Earlier this week, a group of our firm’s paralegals - including Kelly Ackley, Holli Litwiller Jarrell, Brook Paugh, and Miranda West - attended the Paralegal Day Celebration at Creekside Event Center, hosted by the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio (PACO).

Featuring keynote speaker Ohio Supreme Court Justice Jennifer Brunner, the event brought Central Ohio’s legal community together to celebrate the profession and recognize award and scholarship recipients.

We’re proud to have joined the State of Ohio and City of Columbus in recognizing Paralegal Day, and we value the essential role paralegals play in the legal profession.

The Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance’s Statehouse Day was an impactful event that brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and advocates from across the state – and we were honored to be both a sponsor and a participant.

From thoughtful discussions with legislative leaders to meetings with more than 50 elected officials, it was a powerful reminder of how important it is for restaurant and hospitality operators to have a seat at the table. These entrepreneurs are vital to Ohio’s economy and communities, yet too often their voices can be underrepresented in policy conversations.

We were especially glad to connect with so many owners, operators, and partners at the Legislator Meet & Greet Happy Hour at Jackie O's on Fourth – where our own Steve Tugend helped emphasize the importance of the day’s conversations.

The event highlighted the transformative impact of LASCO’s Bankruptcy Program, which helps individuals and families overcome financial hardship, secure stable housing, and move toward brighter futures.
