From Screened Porch to Summer Headquarters!

This project is officially in the books, and what a transformation it was!

We took an aging screened-in porch and completely rebuilt it into a beautiful 3-season room that's ready for summer dinners, family gatherings, morning coffee, and everything in between.

✔️ All new framing
✔️ New siding
✔️ New crank windows
✔️ New trim throughout
✔️ Fresh paint on the walls, ceiling, and floor
✔️ New concrete step
✔️ New electrical outlet
✔️ New ceiling fan
✔️ New doors

What started as a tired old porch is now a comfortable, weather-tight space the homeowners can enjoy for years to come.

Just in time for summer cookouts, card games, family dinners, and avoiding those pesky mosquitoes while still enjoying the outdoors!

🚧 The finish line is officially in sight! 🚧

We wrapped up the exterior painting and floor coating on this screened porch transformation turned 3-season room, and what a difference it has made! 🎨✨

At this point, we're down to the "where did I leave that paint brush?" phase of the project. Just a few interior wall touch-ups, the final screen door installation, and this beauty will be ready for its grand debut.

This porch started out tired, weathered, and ready for retirement. Now it's becoming the favorite room in the house without actually adding onto the house! 🏡

Stay tuned for the final reveal—because if the before and after pictures don't make you say "wow," we'll blame it on the fresh paint fumes. 😆

What used to be an old, worn out porch where mosquitoes paid more rent than the homeowners… is now becoming a beautiful THREE-SEASON ROOM the family can enjoy almost year-round. 😅

This week we wrapped up:
✔ Interior & exterior paint
✔ Fresh floor paint
✔ New ceiling fan
✔ New electrical outlet
✔ Brand new screen door

And let me tell you… this project has come a LONG way from “please don’t lean on that wall” territory. 😂

The fresh paint completely changed the feel of the space, the new fan will keep it comfortable during those humid Ohio summers, and the updated finishes make the whole room feel clean, bright, and modern.

Out with the old and in with the new! 🔨🏡

We officially kicked off another awesome transformation project this week on this old screened-in porch! The existing screens, worn carpet, and rotten wood had definitely seen better days — so it was time to give this space a whole new life.

This week we tackled the demo phase:
✔️ Removed all old screens
✔️ Tore out the outdated carpet
✔️ Replaced damaged and rotten wood

Next week the real transformation begins! 👀

We’ll be installing beautiful crank windows to turn this into a more functional 3-season style space, along with custom 1x6 tongue & groove walls installed into dadoed 2x4 framing to help create a cleaner look while keeping everything as water-tight as possible.

To finish it all off, we’ll also be adding:
⚡ A new ceiling fan
⚡ New electrical outlet
🎨 Fresh interior paint

This porch is going from tired and weathered to cozy, clean, and functional — just in time for relaxing summer evenings! ☀️
