This wasn't just a quick flooring swap-we completely rebuilt this floor with comfort and precision in mind. Here is a look behind the scenes at what goes into a professional installation:

1. The Demo & Prep: Out with the old, cracked tile. We stripped it down to the subfloor and prepped a completely level base.

2. Premium Comfort: We installed a custom in-floor heating system before pouring the self-leveler. No more freezing feet in the winter months!

3. Precision Craftsmanship: Using a professional tile-leveling system and precision laser lines, we laid down these beautiful wood-look porcelain planks.

4. The Ultimate Test: One of the main goals was to eliminate an awkward, uneven step down from the kitchen. As you can see at the end, the new heated tile sits 100% flush with the existing kitchen LVP floor.

5. The Finish: We finished it off with professional epoxy grout injection for maximum durability, clean baseboards, and re-hung the French doors perfectly.

We installed high-quality Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring in a gorgeous weathered oak wood-look finish. This isn't just a pretty floor, it's 100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, and perfect for high-traffic rental units like this! The new pale neutral wall color makes the hardwood aesthetic really pop. We love the modern, clean design this change provided.
