Thanks to City of Columbus' Councilman Christopher L. Wyche, our Columbus Urban Agriculture Infrastructure Grant is happening again this year! We will have a virtual info session on August 31 from 6-7pm, then the application will open from September 1-15.

Created to strengthen the local food supply chain and support both for-profit and non-profit farms, including community gardens, this grant aims to provide infrastructure that helps growing operations scale up their production and distribution. Examples include but are not limited to high tunnels, water service, cold/dry storage, and market stands.

You MUST complete the Electrical 101 Workshop BEFORE you register for this class! However, we're confident these seats will sell quickly so please register ASAP if interested.

🌿 We’d LOVE donations of used garden tools to sell at the CGS FALL Plant & Tool SALE! Summer is fading and it’s a great time to decide what needs to GO. Take a look in your garage or garden shed – do you have tools and supplies IN GOOD CONDITION that you’re ready to release to an excited NEW gardener?

• Examples: USED or new shovels, rakes, hoes, trowels, carts/wheelbarrows, pruners, loppers, hedge trimmers, trellises, weeder, garden fork, and hoses (and other watering devices/accessories). NEW garden gloves and sprayers.

• Ceramic, terracotta, or other high-end plant containers in very good condition accepted. > NO EMPTY PLASTIC GARDEN CENTER POTS or TRAYS, PLEASE.

BRING YOUR SELLABLE, UNBROKEN DONATIONS to the Columbus Garden School at 1350 E. Cooke Road, Columbus OH 43224. Leave them beside the garage. Deadline is THURSDAY, SEPT. 10th at 6 pm. > We need time to sort it all before the sale on Saturday, Sept. 12!
