We did not make it to the market this morning (you'll know why in the next post...lol) but we will be getting these pretties stocked into the Co-op fridge at the farmers market later today!

As always these beautiful rainbow eggs are from our happy free ranging girls(though there's not a lot out there with it being so dry!) and we supplement with kitchen scraps, garden waste and non GMO soy free layer feed and scratch(these girls love their scratch treats!)

Naturally raised (see edit below) Laying hens off to their new homes today! Another batch leaving over this weekend to a neighbor. We still have some pullets left, mixed brown egg layers, Black Copper Maran (Dark Brown), and Buff Orpingtons!

We also have Cockerels available Cream Legbar (Double Blue Genetics can be used to make Olive eggers with dark brown laying hens or sage eggers with light brown) , Black Copper Maran and Buff Orpington.

Edited to add: All are chickens are naturally raised and hatched here on our farm. Almost all of these chickens are hatched from my own stock chickens I also hatched! So we have generations of naturally raised laying chickens! We also feed non GMO soy free feed and have them on grass whenever possible (it's been tough with no rain).

I am looking for a small house or a couple small offices to clean weekly on the Timothy Rd side of Athens once a week when I have my car. (Thursday or Friday depending on the week). It would have to be later in the day as I already clean a house in the morning/early afternoon. References available. I have a helper and a homeschooler who tags along. I can also bring you beautiful farm fresh free range eggs!! Lol!

If you weren't able to make it to the market this morning we stocked the fridge for the week with eggs! Be sure and bring back your cartons! Thanks so much! We hope to be at the market again next Saturday! So good to see everyone again!

We did not make it to the market this morning but we did get the fridge stocked with eggs for the week! Lots of speckles in this week's batch! Check out the other goodies in there as well including salad fixings!!

Did anyone start any paste tomatoes for fall planting and have any extra seedlings? I didn't get to can near as much as I wanted to this year. Fixing to eat our last slicer!
