Some of our favorite projects start with a tricky piece of land. This family wanted a play area for their kids, but their property is uneven, and this wooded corner was the only spot with enough room and a gentle enough slope to level. So that is where we built it, carving out the space and setting a boulder wall to hold the grade. Now an unused corner is leveled and ready for a new play structure. Michigan winters are hard on evergreens. Cold wind and winter sun pull moisture from leaves and needles while the ground is frozen and the roots cannot replace it. That is what causes the brown, scorched foliage many homeowners find on their boxwood, arborvitae, holly, and rhododendrons each spring.

Our anti-desiccant application helps prevent that damage. We apply a protective coating to your evergreens in late fall that reduces moisture loss through the winter and helps them come into spring green and healthy.

Some projects are about more than the work. We rebuilt this courtyard at a local elementary school so the kids have a better place to learn, play, and spend time together. New turf, fresh space, and a spot that will get used every single day. Giving back to the community we have worked in for twenty years is something we will always make time for.
