McAndrew Lawn Care in Nicholson is looking for a general lawn care worker to start right away. Full time. Overtime for any hours over 40, and overtime will sometimes be available. May have to work some Saturdays depending on if we have to cancel days during the week because of weather, but we try our best to not work much on weekends.

Need a clean three year driving record and a plus if you can drive a truck pulling a trailer as you would be responsible to fill in as crew leader at times when our main crew leader is off.

Responsibilities will include mowing, weedeating, blowing, trimming bushes, spraying for weeds as well as sometimes laying mulch, landscape maintenance, and occasional landscape install.

Knowledge of equipment and previous experience a plus but not required. Will train the right person.

*Must be clean cut. (Long hair and tattoos not a problem, just look presentable)
*Ready to work and on time
*A self motivator. Someone who can work on their own quickly leading another worker
*Must have reliable transportation
*Flexible schedule to accommodate unexpected adverse weather conditions. We do not schedule work for Sundays! But, you must be available to work weekends and/or holidays if/when conditions require
*Must be able to pass a drug test before starting work

We are a drug free workplace and to***co free in work truck.

Pay starts at $13.00 per hour. 90-day trial period after which you will be eligible for a raise to $14 an hour if all goes well. Then will have an opportunity for a raise on a yearly basis after that.

Please remember; this is not an office job. It gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There will be long days and there will be shorter days. It comes with the job. Be prepared.

McAndrew Lawn Care in Nicholson is hiring for a crew leader. Will have to work some weekends, but we try our best to always have Sundays off.

Must have valid drivers license with clear five year driving record. Must be able to drive a truck pulling a 14 foot trailer. This will be full time work with some opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities will include mowing, trimming, and blowing, laying mulch and pine straw, along with landscape maintenance. Slows down of course in winter, but will have hours available year round. December, January and February are the slowest months, but we go full time March through November. Must be able to be in charge of another worker and work solo as needed.

Knowledge of equipment and previous experience a plus but not required. Will train the right person.

*A self motivator. Someone who can work on their own quickly leading another worker

Pay starts between $13.00 and $15.00 per hour depending on experience and knowledge while you are training over the first two months. After that you will be out on your own and/or running a crew with usually one other worker and pay will increase to between $14 and $16 per hour. After one year another opportunity for a raise will be presented if all is going well.
