🎉 Employee Anniversary Spotlight: Celebrating 31 Years with Leslie Turpin! 🎉
This October, we’re celebrating Leslie Turpin and her incredible 31 years with Trench Shoring Company!
Leslie’s journey began when she responded to an ad in the Long Beach Press-Telegram. With some experience under her belt and a willingness to learn, she took a chance—and 31 years later, she’s still making an impact as our Senior Credit Manager.
Leslie tells us no two days are alike. From problem solving and navigating challenges to providing customer service and building lasting relationships, she brings adaptability, perseverance, and a solution-oriented mindset to everything she does.
One of her favorite memories is receiving her 20 year anniversary jacket at our 2015 Christmas party, where she made history as the first woman to receive one! She also met her husband through work, making her time at Trench Shoring Company meaningful in more ways than one.
When asked what 31 years has taught her, Leslie shared a motto that reflects her approach to both work and life: “No problems, just solutions.” She encourages others to advocate for themselves, take initiative, work hard, treat people with respect, and remember that relationships and reputation matter.
Leslie says it’s the people, friendships, and opportunity to be part of something that has grown so much that have kept her here. Over the years, it has been these lasting relationships and valuable lessons that have shaped her both personally and professionally.
