We’re EcoQuiet, and we just launched our Providence expansion today. After 10 years of growing our mission in Massachusetts, we’ve crossed the border to bring the Ocean State its first 100% all-electric, zero-emission lawn fleet.

Since we are opening a new branch in RI, we’d like to re-introduce our company owner, George Carrette!

George studied horticulture at the UMass Amherst Stockbridge School of Agriculture before starting EcoQuiet Lawn Care in 2014. At the time, he realized there was a significant carbon footprint associated with landscaping technologies. After doing more research, he learned that 2-stroke engines are the main culprit for pollution in the industry - but thankfully, there are battery alternatives. He recognized electric landscaping as an opportunity to offer a rare and valuable service to environmentally-conscious consumers.

Besides focusing on sustainable lawn care methods, EcoQuiet is dedicated to promoting a livable wage for its employees, year-round employment, opportunities for promotions, and free certification classes to provide workers with careers, not just jobs.

Our long time company mascot and plant scent consultant Noel has passed away recently. She was along for hundreds of customer meetings, workdays and even mowed with us at times. Even with her stubby legs she walked hundreds of miles with our team. She will be missed, but never forgotten. We wish her well as she waddles her way to heaven.
