Scam Alert! After doing many, many service calls this month, I've seen a trend in the number of folks that have been mislead in getting their vent free gas logs operational for season. It seems there are several companies out there that are telling folks that their "thermocouple" needs to be replaced to make the pilot stay lit. While the thermocouple does indeed need to work for pilot operation, they RARELY fail. As a general rule, they will last the life of the unit. Don't get rooked by a "part replacer". Any technician worth his pay should not only be able to tell you why he is replacing your part, but should be willing to show you the test that determines that the part is bad. (Hint: It requires a voltmeter). MANY pilot assemblies are being replaced unnecessarily this year, when the vast majority would have been fine with a cleaning. Why would a company lie about needing to replace an assembly? Money. Plain and simple. If you have questions or need a second opinion, please feel free to give us a call.

!!! PSA !!! If you have a gas fireplace, please be aware of the fire risk your Christmas decorations could be. As with all gas logs and fireplaces, clearance to combustibles (found in your owners manual) MUST be maintained. Stockings, garland, or other decorations should never be hanging below the mantle while your fireplace is burning. Just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have supported us and our adventures over the years.

To my customers, long time regulars and new folks too, who have entrusted their gas systems and products to our care, we thank you!

To our families, who wonder from time to time "have they lost their minds", but offer undying support, we thank you!

To our friends, who have been shoulders to cry on, smiles to warm our hearts, encouragement to keep dreaming, and hands to help lift the heavy loads, we thank you!

To the several business that have referred us for work and associated your name with ours, we thank you!

But most of all we thank God, for giving us strength, sustenance, and clarity, to continue down this path.

None of this would be possible without each of you.

We send warmest holiday wishes to you all and look forward to the years to come.

We will be closed until December 26th to celebrate this most wonderful time of the year to reflect on how we have been truly blessed.

WOW!😳 What a snow! Unfortunately, the weather has changed our schedule a bit. We are taking a day in the office to "back up and punt" with our schedule. Rest assured that we will, as always, maintain our "first come, first served" rule. However, the entire schedule will likely be delayed a few days.
