One of the last harvests of the year. 🥕🍅🌿
I always have such mixed feelings when I’m out in the garden this time of year. I’m grateful for everything it has given us, but there’s also a little sadness knowing these days of walking outside and picking something fresh won’t last much longer.
I think that’s why these last few harvests feel extra special.
I look at this basket and think about all the little seeds I planted months ago, the time spent watering and weeding, the excitement over the first vegetables, and all the meals and memories that came from this garden.
It’s easy to take it for granted when there’s something ready to pick every day. But when the season starts winding down, I find myself appreciating every tomato, every carrot, every little bit of goodness that’s left.
I’m going to savor these last harvests and soak up these final days in the garden.
The garden is getting ready to rest 🤎
Until next spring… thank you, garden, for another beautiful season. 🌱✨
