I did clean the fridge, harvest a small potato bed and organize my stock room!

I’m working my way up to the sweet potato jungle‼️

Not bad for two plants! I need to do another sweep of the bed because I always miss a couple.
We will let these cure and have them at market soon!

September Gardening in Arkansas 🌱🍂

It’s that time of year when EVERYTHING is overgrown, dying, tired, and just plain A MESS! 😂

My name is Tammy, and I suffer from anxiety—and this time of year always seems to hit me HARD.

I find myself looking around at everything that needs to be done and feeling completely overwhelmed before I even know where to start.

The house needs decluttered and deep cleaned.
The garden beds need to be worked.
The fridge is a disaster.
The stock room needs cleaned and organized.
The garden needs attention.
And I could keep going… and going… and going. 😩

Then factor in the intense heat we’ve experienced this summer, and honestly, I just haven’t had the mental or physical energy to tackle it all.

Sometimes it’s not that you’re lazy.
Sometimes it’s not that you don’t care.
Sometimes your brain is simply looking at the entire mountain instead of the one step in front of you.

So if you’re looking around your house, garden, greenhouse, flower beds—or whatever your “mess” happens to be—and feeling completely overwhelmed…

You are NOT alone. ❤️

I’m reminding myself that it doesn’t all have to be done today. Pick one little thing. Do what you can. Then stop when you need to.

September is a transition month in the garden, but maybe it can be a transition month for us, too. 🌱

One bed.
One room.
One drawer.
One little task at a time.

And if your garden looks like a jungle right now… welcome to the club. 😂🌿
