Full Job Description:
We are looking for an Entry Level Junior Accountant to join our team: You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.
· An entry-level position in the accounting department
· Responsibilities include:
· reconciling bank and credit card statements
· reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable,
· reconciling general ledger accounts,
· maintaining fixed assets and depreciation schedules,
· assist in preparation of sales and use tax returns,
· posting journal entries,
· updating financial statements,
· preparing financial reports,
· maintaining and renewing various business licenses and associated bonds,
· backup to payroll and accounts payable functions, and
· other duties as assigned
· Closely supervised by the accounting manager
· Requirements:
· Bachelor degree in accounting or associates degree in accounting with some experience in the accounting field
· Attention to detail and able to meet deadlines while maintaining quality
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· High level of expertise with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
· Ability to maintain objectivity and confidentiality
· Must be able to pass a background check
