The first Foreman Leadership Training session of 2026 recently kicked off in Greensboro, NC!

Designed to help both new and experienced foremen strengthen their leadership skills, the program challenges participants to think critically, communicate effectively, and lead with purpose both in the field and within their crews.

One of the biggest takeaways from this week's session has been the level of engagement from the group. Through planning exercises, productivity scenarios, and team discussions, participants demonstrated what brotherhood looks like in action by supporting one another, sharing experiences, and working together to solve challenges.

Led by Jonathan W. and Keith P., FLT continues to invest in the leaders who help drive our operations forward every day.

Pictured here is the SSE Station 125 Reversal project in Walton County, Georgia, featuring the largest pipe Southeast Connections has installed to date, a 54-inch diameter header!

This project will help support bi-directional natural gas flow by installing new piping, valves, and automation systems that allow gas to move in either direction as system demands change. The work includes large-diameter fabrication, multiple tie-ins, and extensive station upgrades designed to enhance flexibility and reliability across the network.

Projects of this scale require coordination, craftsmanship, and a team committed to delivering quality work every step of the way.

Strong crews reflect strong leadership!

Recently at our Conyers office, a crew led by David A. represented Southeast Connections extremely well during a walk-around inspection.

Driver/Fitter Yovani S. and Operator Miguel R. immediately stepped up to ask if they could assist and handled the interaction professionally from start to finish. The truck and trailer were clean, organized, and properly secured, and the DVIR was provided.

What stood out most was that their foreman was not present during the interaction. This team confidently represented their crew, understood the importance of inspections, and showed real accountability and pride in their work.

Because of their professionalism, they were both presented with a Challenge Coin, and David A. was recognized for leading a strong crew. Great job and thank you for representing the SEC way!

DOT Blitz Week is here, and attention to detail matters more than ever!

From May 12–14, inspectors across the country will be increasing roadside inspections with added focus on tire condition, brakes, and driver log accuracy. A few extra minutes spent checking your equipment can make all the difference.

Before hitting the road, take time to:
• Complete a thorough pre-trip inspection
• Check tire tread and tire condition
• Verify lights, brakes, and backup alarms are working properly
• Secure all cargo and trailer connections
• Make sure your license, medical card, and paperwork are current
• Review logs for accuracy and compliance
• Confirm emergency equipment is fully stocked

Blitz Week is more than passing an inspection. It is about protecting yourself, your crew, and everyone sharing the road with us every day.
