We recently wrapped up a project fixing a pair of basement egress window wells that were failing on two major fronts:
They were installed completely wrong without exterior groundwater sealing, and they didn't meet safety code size requirements. We excavated down to the foundation, properly sealed the exterior walls against water intrusion, and installed new, code-compliant window wells surrounded by clean drainage rock. Quick Update on Laurentian Pit Mill Feed 🛠️

​Hi everybody! We’ve gotten a few questions about mill feed lately and wanted to share a quick update:

​The Laurentian Pit is currently producing brown mill feed rather than the usual black material. The brown stuff has a higher iron content and is available for delivery right now if you want to move forward with your project.

​If you prefer the classic black mill feed, I talked with the foreman at the pit—they expect to be running the black material again in the next month or two.
