🏡⚡ AN OLD HOUSE, A NEW CHAPTER, AND A WHOLE LOT OF ELECTRICAL WORK! 💡🔨

Our project in Lebanon, PA, is coming along nicely! This little house with an attached apartment has quite a history. The original home dates back to 1910 — before it had electricity or indoor plumbing! 😲

Rewiring a home like this from top to bottom is no small task. Older homes come with plenty of surprises, but that's part of the fun!

Here's what we've been working on:
💡 Installing 4-inch recessed lights to brighten up key areas.
🌀 Adding ceiling fans to the bedrooms for comfort.
⚡ Rewiring the home from top to bottom.
🔧 Eliminating the old knob-and-tube wiring and upgrading the electrical system to meet applicable code requirements.

Taking an older home and giving it a safer, more functional electrical system while preserving its character is a challenge we enjoy!

It's been a fun project, and we're excited to see it all come together. What do you think of how it's looking so far? Drop a comment below! 👇

Have an older home that needs electrical attention? Whether it's a full rewire, new lighting, or troubleshooting an old electrical system, Daly Electric is here to help!

💪⚡ GETTING IT DONE! ANOTHER TOUGH JOB TACKLED BY DALY ELECTRIC! ⚡🔨

Sometimes you have to move a little dirt to make BIG things happen! 🏠🚜

We were called in by our friends at 3 Daughters Construction to clear the way for a new home addition. The problem? The existing underground electrical service was right where the new addition needed to go!

After meeting with the power company, we worked out a plan to relocate the service while keeping it live for the family and their newborn baby. That's right — we had to get creative to keep things moving! ⚡👶

We're not quite finished yet. We'll need the new addition in place before we can complete the final cleanup and finishing work. Stay tuned for the finished pictures… assuming Dave remembers to take them this time! 😂📸

At Daly Electric, we can handle it all — from fixing a simple outlet to relocating an underground electrical service. We bring years of experience, problem-solving skills, and pride in our work to every project.

⚡🏡 WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU INSPECTED YOUR OUTDOOR ELECTRICAL? ⚡

We were recently called to disconnect a pool outlet, and look what we found! 😳 The metal conduit had rotted at the base. Outdoor electrical takes a beating from moisture, weather, and time.

⚠️ 3 OUTDOOR ELECTRICAL DANGERS TO WATCH FOR:

🔌 1. Rusted or Damaged Conduit — Corrosion can expose wiring and allow moisture to get inside.

💧 2. Water Near Electrical Equipment — Damaged outlets, missing covers, and water intrusion can create serious shock hazards, especially around pools.

⚡ 3. Loose, Cracked, or Damaged Outlets — Deteriorating connections can increase the risk of electrical shock and fire.

Don't wait for a problem to become an emergency! If your outdoor electrical hasn't been checked in a while, let a qualified electrician take a look. Never touch damaged electrical equipment yourself.
