Legacy Tree Solutions is a full service tree company working on every aspect of the tree, from the soil it grows in to the insects that inhabit it. Because of this, on any given day we prune deadwood, treat a tree with pesticides, plant new trees and install or modify irrigation systems to accommodate the trees specific needs in that season.

We are looking for an employee who can keep up with the wide scope of work; someone interested in the complexity of tree biology, insect ecology, pesticide uses, watering systems, etc. Experience in any of these skills would be important, and a passion to learn these skills is a must for this position.

You may be seeing these beauties blooming in town right now. This is the Klehm’s Bechtel crabapple, known for its double pink flower and incredibly delicious aroma. It's one of my favorite crab apples of all time, but the drawback its large inedible fruit that carpet the ground underneath after these lovely blossoms.

BUT! Right now, Four Seasons Greenhouse and Nursery is selling a new cultivar called Prairie Rose, and this cultivar has the same double pink blossoms, but is fruitless! Could it be the perfect crab apple?
