Grace Blu Interior Design is a boutique interior design firm that designs outside the box and creates unique and bold spaces for residential and commercial projects. When Rona Graf launched Grace Blu in 2007, she made the intentional decision not to use her own name. From the beginning, her vision for her design studio was a “collaborative of creatives” that would combine their skills and experien

ces to create one-of-a-kind spaces. Grace Blu’s most recent collaboration with fellow principal designer Megan Yang reinforces the construction forward design studio’s commitment to innovative solutions and diverse perspectives. The meaning is two-fold, as seen in their convention challenging designs and client-centric approach. Rona and team forgo genre and rigid process, instead editing their approach and style to create a fresh and inimitable space every single time. Grace Blu has received the attention of many regional and national publications like HGTV Magazine, Arch Digest, Better Homes & Gardens, CA Home & Design, RUE Magazine, Modern Luxury, Orange County Register, and Coast Magazine. Most recently, Grace Blu was honored with the title of HGTV Designer of the Year 2020.

That plain white wall was not going to cut it. Not in this cottage. Not on our watch.

So we added a heavily textured wall covering and layered a custom designed surfboard right on top of it. And not just any surfboard. This one has the longitude and latitude coordinates, a nod to the Wedge, and yes, even the classic frozen banana tucked right into the design. 🤙

This is what designing outside the box actually looks like. Not just hanging something pretty. Layering meaning, texture, and unexpected elements together until the room tells a story nobody else could tell.

Helllloooooo 👋🏼 from the new and improved at the Lido House hotel in Newport Beach!

We welcomed back the visionary and man behind the entire hotel Robert Olson to take a quick tour of the newly refreshed cottage.

Bob loved what we did and he is so excited to be unveiling 5 new cottages soon on the property!

This hotel is very close to my heart, I absolutely loved working on the project, my son practically grew up on this job site and we have been so fortunate to have worked on both of Bob Olson’s personal residences after the Lido House was completed.

Same role. Same cape. Same play. Two completely different destinies.

Jeanette played on Saturday nights. Diane Hall played on Fridays. Little Mary Sunshine. Santa Ana High School. Both of them shared a stage before the world knew either of their names.

When Annie Hall came out years later, everyone who knew Diane growing up looked at each other and went: "Well. That's just Diane."
One went to New York. One went to Paris. Both became legends in their own right. 🥂

A quick stop by our job site to check on the status. It’s always fun when this part starts…. You start to see the vision coming to life. The months of planning, the meetings, the materials, the concepts all becoming a reality. That’s the part where it gets really exciting.

This home is going to be a spec home that anyone can purchase. We tried to imagine a home where anyone would love, made it timeless, but also rich and sophisticated. Something that when people walked in, they felt they could live there immediately and feel the essence of the home speak to them.

This home is a combination of rich warm tones of wood, mixed limestones and so many beautiful ANN SACKS stone and tile.

The team that is making this home happen is Eric Aust , Sky Sail Coastal Estates Burkhart Brothers Construction & of course us.

Put heels on that, and you're over six feet, which officially eliminated her from adagio work and everything she'd trained for. So instead of shrinking the dream, she redirected it.

Straight to the Las Vegas stage. For 30 years. 👠

Jeanette Boyd Williams had one of the longest and most celebrated careers in Vegas showgirl history, and it all started with a dance requirement at a private school in Washington State.

Jeanette Boyd Williams is not your average guest, and this is not your average story. She grew up right here in Orange County, went to Santa Ana High School, and landed the same role in Little Mary Sunshine as a girl named Diane Hall.

Diane went to New York. Jeanette went to Paris.
