Unless you’ve doom scrolled pet disaster Reels (I know I haven’t), it’s hard to believe a cat could both turn on an island faucet and spin it around so that it runs onto the countertop and down to the hardwood floor, flooding the house.

You can’t see it here but there is a strap the homeowners now use to keep the water lever from being turned on “accidentally.” That’s a bad kitty!!

Aside from that, what a beautiful kitchen, don’t you think? Designed by Valerie Saunders of and proudly brought back to life by Pacific Coast Builders, Inc.

Sometimes you remodel your house because you are ready for a change. Other times it’s because your cat turned on the kitchen island faucet while you were out of town and the water ran over onto the floor for two hours and ruined nearly all your flooring, cabinetry and walls. We’ll leave it up to you do decide which was the case here at our project in San Juan Capistrano.

Either way it turned out Purfect.

Sometimes you remodel your house because you are ready for a change. Other times it’s because your cat turned on the kitchen island faucet while you were out of town and the water ran over onto the floor for two hours and ruined nearly all your flooring, cabinetry and walls. We’ll leave it up to you do decide which was the case here at our project in San Juan Capistrano. Either way it turned out purfect.
