It’s been a busy summer with quite a few interesting projects such as this one. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) continued to provide temporary housing for those affected by recent fires. We were honored to become part of the team and tackle the electrical side of things. The project consisted of engineering the design-build and installation of the electrical distribution with site lighting at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico, CA. The incoming 12,470 volt primary circuits were distributed by two 100kVA transformers to multiple 600 amp distribution points for the 61 temporary trailers brought on site. We never could have performed this without the sacrifices of our hard working team putting in 12 hour days, 6-7 days a week to keep this project on schedule.

One of our projects underway as we add solar pathway lights in front of the Conservancy of Flowers located in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The building behind Jared was constructed in 1879 and is the oldest remaining municipal wooden conservancy in the country. I highly recommend exploring this side of Golden Gate Park to enjoy the Conservancy and San Francisco Botanical Gardens.
