One of the most challenging and rewarding projects we’ve taken on.
This historic home was carefully relocated from the Sugar Mill in Franklin, Louisiana to its new home in Parks, Louisiana. The process involved extensive structural planning and precision demolition to preserve the integrity and character of the house during the move.
Our scope included:
• Demolition and removal of portions of the structure
• Complete removal of the existing roof system
• Cutting the main house in half for transport
• Separating the rear addition, which will be rotated and repositioned at the new location
• Reassembling the second floor and rebuilding the roof system once relocated
Projects like this take experience, patience, and a team willing to tackle the difficult work. Proud of the crew and everyone involved in helping preserve a piece of Louisiana history.
